American Timber Salvage grew from the effort to salvage historic building wood materials for re-use.

Some of our more significant projects have included the Farmer’s Service Grain Elevators Mill in Waterloo, Illinois, and the Cupples 7 Warehouse in St. Louis MO.

The company was formed during a 1 ½ year project.

Species of old growth lumber for salvage in the St. Louis area include northern white and southern long leaf yellow pine.

We try to concentrate our efforts on the oldest and rarest of these.

We work with homeowners, interior decorators and designers, architects, rehabbers, and artists.
